FAQ
For any other queries please contact us via email, webchat or contact form.
Which switches are compatible?
Any MX-Style switch is compatible. 3 or 5 pin. Low profile switches will not fit.
Which buttons are compatible?
Standard arcade buttons (Sanwa etc.) will not fit. The buttons are keyboard switches mounted in a steel plate with keycaps on them. The round keycaps are from Punk Workshop and the square ones are standard 1U keycaps.
Can I swap in my own Brook/GP2040 PCB?
Yes. As long as they are of the standard form factor a full size Brook/GP2040-CE board will fit. There is also space to install the UFB-UP5.
Does the OkiBoard have SOCD modes?
Yes there are three SOCD modes - See them here.
Which consoles/platforms are compatible?
The OkiBoard is compatible with many platforms. See the full list here.
How Do I install art
Design and print art on A3 paper using the art template, then install it. There are lots of good guides on the internet for fight stick art.
One of my buttons has stopped working, how can I fix this?
When a button stops working, it is highly likely that there is a loose connection somewhere.

If you have recently changed a switch, check that it is correctly installed.

There could be a loose connection on the screw terminal on the Brook/GP2040 board. Remove the top and bottom panels from your controller and reseat/tighten the wire in the screw terminal that corresponds to the faulty button.

Do you run an art service?
Not currently.
Can you make me a custom layout?
Not currently.
Will Brook or Mayflash converters and adapters work with the OkiBoard?
Yes, they will work.
Why wont my console detect the controller?
The Brook/GP2040 board should automatically detect which console you are connecting to and select the correct mode. Sometimes the autodetection fails and you might need to manually select the correct mode.
